Andrew Baker, our Woodland Carbon Markets Advisor, gave a presentation on the Woodland Carbon Code to over 100 delegates in France in April 2024. 

Andy travelled to Bourdeaux to attend a conference on carbon sequestration organised by the Union of Foresters of Southern Europe. He was joined by experts from a range of organisations including the European Commission, Coopérative Carbone and the Institute for Climate Economics. 

The conference highlighted the need for carbon sequestration programmes to have robust additionality rules, credibility and consistency to provide confidence in the private carbon market.
