Scotland        Bennan Hill

Completed in 2019, this new woodland covers an area of 57 hectares on Balbeg Estate in Ayrshire.

Broadmeadows

A 265 hectare site in the Scottish boarders. Planting was completed in 2019.

Buccleuch Group

This group scheme includes a range of sites on the Buccleuch estates. Planting across the 93.3 hectare site was completed in 2012.

Caledonian Woodland Carbon Scheme

The Caledonian woodland sites are located close to Bishopbriggs in central Scotland. The project covers a total area of 35.96 hectares, with planting completed in 2015.

Craigengillan Groups 1 and 2

This project is made up of two group projects on Craigengillan Estate. Craigengillan’s motto is ‘where nature’s magic grows’ and the owner encourages public access.

Glenlochay native woodland creation

This 588 hectare site was planted between 2010 and 2014. Species include Birch, Scots Pine, Oak and Juniper.
Milton of Mathers

A 17.4 hectare site on a farm near Montrose. Planting started in 2008.

4 Gesto

A 71 hectare site planted in Syke in 2015. Species include Birch, Alder, Rowan, Hazel and Willow.

England Emilie’s Wood

The project is located on land between a river and a railway line near Aslockton in Nottinghamshire. Planting on the 11.1 hectare site was completed in 2018.

Forest of Marston Vale Group

A group project with ten sites across the Marston Vale. The 98.24 hectare project is helping to regenerate land damaged by brick making and landfill. Planting was completed in 2013.

Benson Wood

This 0.49 hectare site is located near Bitterly in Shropshire. Planting started in 2016.

Bescaby Diamond Wood

Located close to Saltby in North Leicestershire, this 13.4 hectare site was planted between 2012 and 2013. It’s one of the Woodland Trust’s woods planted to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Lonsdale small woods group 

A group of small projects in Carmarthenshire, Northumberland and Lincolnshire, covering an area of 15.88 hectares. Planting started in 2014.

Moorside Woods

A 34.4 hectare site in Cumbria. Started in 2010, the woodland is accessible to the public.

Upton Court Park

Based near slough, this 7.25 hectare project aims to reverse environmental decline and create an oasis for wildlife. Planting started in 2013.

Warcop

This 160 hectare project is located on a Ministry of Defence training area in Cumbria. Planting started in 2011.

Yorkshire Dales Woodland Restoration              

A group project which incorporates fives sites across the Yorkshire Dales National Park, totalling 30.1 hectares. Planting took place between 2007 and 2010.
Northern Ireland          Minnowburn

Situated on a National Trust site near Belfast, this site covers 8.55 hectares. Planting began in 2011.

Wales Cwm Fagor

Started in 2009, this site covers 29 hectares in an area close to Devauden in Monmouthshire.
