We’re delighted that an area equivalent to 47% of all new woodland created in the UK in 2023 to 2024 has been validated to the Woodland Carbon Code. 

Thanks to all the landowners, project developers, validators, auditors, board members, staff and supporters who worked together to make this possible! 

Together, we have now created and validated a total of 35,000 hectares of woodland which is predicted to sequester over 11.7 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent over its lifetime.
